Camp Hebron 2005 - Sojourners
Wow guys.. it's been almost 5 months.. I miss it soo much. Once I'm ungroudned a Camp Party is definately in order... we'll go half way mark... 6 months we're having a party..
Remember when I couldn't wait to just get away from the world.. get away from the people here.. and get away from lancaster and go to the greatest place on earth? I wanted to go as a stress realiever.. to just get away for a week.. but what I left with was so much more than a break.
The week started shaky.. My cabin?? Thank goodness Jessy was with me. I had the funnest time with her ever!! she's my Partner In Crime. and always will be. Seeing old friends and meeting the people that would eventually become my best friends and soon mean so much to me. Walking into the wooden cabin with bunk beds all around.. smelling that camp hebron smell... and hearing the stones crackle underneath my foot, brought it all back. The message of God's was amazing.. and the week would never have been the same without him. The Water War between my cabin and Andy's cabin... which overwhelmed the camp in like 4 hours.. will always be remembered. Especially when I was woken up during my second FOB by hoses being shoved through my bathroom window to then running behind breezewood with jessy carrying 6 hoses looking for spikets... and within 4 minutes being soaked from head to toe. I'll never forget when I First Met Jamie during the Shaving Cream Fight. haha having races down the slide.. And I'll always remember when I first talked to Robby when I asked him if we could finish the rest of his Mountain Dew. :) The time when I played volleyball and met all the guys... the time I had a heart to heart with Kathleene.. solving fights between the girls in my cabin.. eating a gross corndog out of our "wasted food" metal can just so we wont have any waste for the entire week.. to find out that someone took the can up with trash and a bubble tape container in it which gave us weight. haha getting my cuncussion..
* being trampled by 10 girls and breaking blood veins in my leg * losing 8 pounds before the week was over * meeting my Stalkers * Singing for the talent show with Katie.. and having Marisa Play the Guitar * Becoming Russian, Gangster, and part of a BOY Band, and talking/singing about our house being on fire * 3 weeks and still going strong * "yeah remember when you told me i should wear make up" * smoky the bear says sty on the trail * models * life guards * being elbowed in the head by robby * lending my toothbrush * the bon fire * sneaking food every minute * the camp out with goldfish * singing at 2 am walking around the camp site "going to the bathroom" * guppie face with Jordan * Never going to the bathroom * trying to get out of climbing peter's mountain * sweat towel * shaving party * walking down Peter's mountain by ourselves * Delilah sitting on our toilet * Modeling by the Pepsi machine * spice leaves * guinea pigs and rabitts * texting all day and night * Russians for hat day * Our Unlaunchable Bottle Rocket * Bull with the coolest people ever in breezewood on the last day * Curtis looks like Derek * Wet Butts * Baked apples?? * WP and DL _ Daddy Longleggers!! The Black Mamba!* "Don't get cought in the storm!!" * Singing with Jason while tugged out during Gold rush * 2 GOLDRUSH GAMES!! * And the joy of ICE POPS being my only food for the day *
It couldn't have been better... each second is replaying over and over again in my head. I can't wait for next year guys.. I Love you all soo much!! I miss camp
